Quartz Infrared Heaters are the ideal solution for today's heating problems.
Climate change is a major issue affecting our planet today. Governments around the world are looking for greener heating solutions and they are introducing new legislation to combat global warming and stop the use of heating equipment that use fossil fuels.
Infrared heaters meet these requirements, they are cost effective to purchase and can save you around 50% on your energy bills compared to gas heating.
This technology is likely to rise in relevance as older gas-powered heating is phased out in the coming years.
Infrared light was first discovered by astronomer & scientist William Herschel in the 19th century.
Today infrared technology is finding increasing popularity in heating systems.
The illustration below shows the benefits of infrared over convection systems.
Convection vs Infrared
Infrared is a directional radiant heat source. This means that the heaters can be positioned so that the heating benefits can be focused on the areas of the warehouse where it is required.
Warehouses and factories are usually very difficult to keep warm, due to loading area doors continually opening which lets the hot air escape from the building. This is not a problem for infrared, it will keep providing it's heat regardless of the change in airflow.
The HLQ is one of our most popular infrared heaters, it can be wall mounted or suspended from ceilings.
1.5kW to 18kW single phase or 3-phase versions (*subject to model).
The HLQ comes with gold lamps as standard. An optional low glare gold lamp is available on request.
There are models with 1, 2, 3, 6 or 9 lamps to suit your heating requirements.
