Infrared Gold Dichroic Anti-Glare Lamps
Victory’s Gold IR lamps have excellent glare reduction thanks to a special method of vacuum deposition developed by Victory which is used to deposit the gold coating. Victory’s innovation has enabled tubular surfaces, previously unsuitable for coating, to have a glare-reducing coating.
The process is also suitable for ruby lamps in instances where they might be considered ‘too red’, or simply as an upgrade from less effective dip-coated glare reduction lamps.
- The thickness of each film that makes up the multi-layer coating is controlled much more tightly than is possible with competitive dip-coating processes
- Colour is constant over the entire length, and from one batch to the next
- The occurrence of pinholes in the new coating is reduced
- Stability of the coating over lamp life is enhanced.
Another important benefit is flexibility to tailor the transmission to suit different applications- modifications in spectral output, colour of the transmitted light, and amount of visible light are all brought within our control.
