Reptiles and amphibians are ectothermic, or cold-blooded, which means that their internal physiological sources of heat, which control body temperature, are very small. They therefore rely on external heat to warm their bodies. The use of a proper heating system is therefore a very important part of a vivarium setup.
Victory’s ceramic Infrared heater lamps provide a simple and effective way to give the animals the heat they need. They emit no light – just the warmth that they need to control their body temperature.

Benefits of Victory's Ceramic Lamps
Ceramic IR heaters emit long wave infrared light to provide radiant, invisible heat to create natural sunlike heat in reptile vivariums. It penetrates the scales and skin tissue and widens blood vessels, increasing blood circulation and so promoting health & healing.
The Made For Reptiles infrared lamps produce no light and therefore do not interrupt sleep patterns. The lamps are splash resistant which make them ideal for humid environments.
Our ceramic lamps last up to 20,000 hours and therefore ideal for providing the required heat 24 hours a day. They are easy to fit thanks to the ES/E27 fitting.

Made For Reptiles - UV Lamps
UV lamps provide a source of UVA & UVB light, which are essential for the continued health of reptiles. In their natural habitat these would come from sun light.
UVA aids general health, appetite, circadian rhythm and mating instincts, while UVB light allows the synthesis of vitamin D3, which helps to absorb calcium. This aids good bone health.
