Victory’s Made for Reptile UV range offers the perfect balance of UVB and UVA output to ensure an optimum environment.
UVA aids general health, appetite and mating instincts. UVB aids bone health, and in some cases has been proven to reduce metabolic bone disease.
The amount of UVB that reptiles need depends on the natural environment that they come from. Made For Reptiles UV lamps therefore emit a mixture of UVA, and a choice of two UVB strengths — 5% and 10% — to suit different species.

Benefits of Victor's Ceramic Lamps
Reptiles require both UVA & UVB light to remain healthy.
UVA light helps to regulate reptiles’ behaviours such as feeding, circadian rhythm, mating instincts & similar activities.
UVB light allows the synthesis of vitamin D3, which helps to absorb calcium. This aids good bone health.
UVB lamps should be used during the day and turned off at night, this helps to mimic the reptiles’ natural habitat, where sunlight provides the UVB they require.
Our Made for Reptiles range emits both UVA and a choice of two UVB strengths, 5% or 10% to suit different species subject to their individual requirements.

It is important to change UV lighting in the vivarium every 6 months as the strength of UV reduces as the bulb ages.

Ceramic infrared heaters emit long wave infrared light to provide radiant, invisible heat to create natural sun like heat in reptile vivariums. It penetrates the scales and skin tissue and widens blood vessels, increasing blood circulation and so promoting health & healing.
